Ladies get excited! The new Spring/Summer 2012 Element Eden stash of goodies is descending upon us soon and we can’t wait.
As always with Element, the range has bits and bobs of every style and trend going for the coming summery months. Whether you’re into lace, skinny pants, double demin or ditsy florals, one thing’s for sure, we want everything! Check out a preview of what will be trickling into stores from pretty much now. With snow finally falling across the Alps and Christmas drawing closer, here’s a little write-up on our favourite top ten products for this winter and why we like them…(in no particular order)
- The Element P.M.A t-shirt – because everyone needs a little positive mental attitude during the winter especially if you’re in the UK and it’s raining and dark at 4pm!
2. Full Tilt Hot Dogger boots – because if they’re good enough for Tom Wallisch, they’re good enough for us!
3. DC PLY snowboard – because donuts and coffee are two of our favourite things and this board is also excellent value for cash!
4. Shaun White Oakley Airbrake goggles – because they look and feel amazing and the lens’ are the easiest to change.
5. K2 Party Pole – because they are called the Party Pole and we are ready to party! They are adjustable in length and they look awesome.
6. RVCA Wordless C. dress – because you can still wear a pretty dress in the winter and the detail at the back is very lovely.
7. Line Sir Francis Bacon Skis – because they are designed in every way by pro skier Eric Pollard and they ski like a dream!
8. Billabong Anne Flore Marxer jacket – because she’s one of the world’s best snowboarders and we love the dreamy, pixelated print.
9. Nike Vapen boot – because this is a really good looking snowboard boot for the ladies, it is purple and there is a swoosh. That is simply all.
10. Salomon Brigade helmet – because everyone needs a helmet and this one looks particularly bright.

Quiksilver King of the Groms comes to Newquay

At the end of this month, over the August Bank Holiday weekend, some of the world’s next big stars in surfing will descend on Fistral Beach, Newquay for the European King of the Groms final and the 4* ASP Quiksilver Pro Junior event – the last in the series of four European stops.
The King of the Grom’s European final kicks off on Thursday 25th August and is a hunt for the best surfers aged sixteen and under, who will then compete in the international final during the Quiksilver Pro France in October.
The second stage of this Quiksilver, surf-filled weekend is the The Quiksilver Pro Junior which is a 4* ASP stage with a $20,000 prize purse. Over ninety-six of the world’s best junior surfers will compete on Fistral beach to become the new Junior European Champion. Check out more details on the King of the Groms Facebook page.
There will be a great family atmosphere over the weekend where visitors will be treated to live music and child-friendly events. The guys from Surfers Against Sewage will be around promoting their latest campaigns too so get involved!
On a more senior note, next month Quiksilver will be hosting the Quiksilver Pro New York, the first ever world championship surf event to be held in the city that never sleeps. It is the world’s first $1,000,000 surf event too, not a bad days work if they take the top stop for the likes of Billabong’s Taj Burrow, Joel Parkinson, Kelly Slater and friends! It promises to be a great event for competitors and spectators a like, the festival area on Long Beach will feature other action sports events including Skate, BMX and MotoX.

Billabong and Two Seasons bring Tyler Cuddy to the UK

Two Seasons and Billabong are excited to announce that Tyler Cuddy will be visiting the UK in July.
Tyler Cuddy captures some of the world’s best surf images. Originally from San Diego, California, he has grown up on the beach with the waves and the ocean on his doorstep. Not one to stay in one place for too long, it seems he has the perfect job, travelling to the world’s best surf spots to take typically captivating, moody and generally awesome images.
Cuddy has teamed up with Billabong to bring us a small collection of four photo print t-shirts and vest tops for the ladies. The range is aptly named after iconic Californian landmarks such as Huntington beach (where Kelly Slater has recently been given ‘the key’) and the Beverly Hills Hotel in Santa Barbara amongst others. Each photo print gives that hazy summer sun feel, a must buy for the summer then!
Should you pop down to Two Seasons Bristol on 20th July or our Billabong Plymouth store on 21st July, you will have the opportunity to meet Tyler himself, get your product signed by him, have exclusive access to discounts on the day and maybe a freebie or two. It’s the eighth year of the joining together of surf communities across the globe in an attempt to create awareness of the sport, to have fun on the beach and clean those beaches up for all to enjoy. The scale of the day has grown to over thirty countries and regions now and there are over one hundred and eighty different events planned for the day. Join in with International Surfing Day which takes place this Sunday 19th June worldwide.
In the UK the SAS (Surfers against Sewage) are hosting the Goldcoast Oceanfest in North Devon as the official UK environmental partner. There will be plenty going on over three days from 17th -19th June in celebration of International Surfing Day on Sunday including music (from the likes of Sea Sick Steve!) and organised activities for everyone so don’t forget your board shorts and wetsuits! To raise awareness of the importance of keeping our beaches clean you can join in the Trash Mob Beach Clean between 1-3pm on Saturday. Grab your gloves and bin bags from the SAS stand and getting picking that litter! The most successful litter collector will be rewarded with a special prize and fifty free surf lesson vouchers (to be used the following day) available for youth volunteers taking part aged between 16-25.

RVCA for men
RVCA is a stylish lifestyle brand that wouldn’t go a miss in any boutique or skate shop. That’s good news because the brand is new to Two Seasons for spring/summer 2011.
Spoken with a U instead of the V, the brand takes the V and the uncrossed A out of its name to create up and down arrows for the logo.
There is a big story behind the brand and it’s Founder and Company Director P M Tenore. Obviously closely associated with skate and surf culture, RVCA is also a combination of sports with art, music, fashion and modern lifestyle. From the beginning there has been the Artist Network Program (ANP) which showcases up-and-coming and well-known artists. Street graffiti is a big part of this and RVCA is a big part of the scene. The brand provides a positive spin on graffiti which most of us associate with dingy bridges and travelling on the train into most cities in the UK. RVCA for women
The collection from RVCA has a minimalist feel, simple, clean and well made. The ANP have transformed their artwork into designs for both men and women and sponsored artists, surfers and skaters such as George Thompson, Donny Miller, Ed Templeton, Andrew Pommier, Ben Horton, Mark McCoy and Krush all have signature designs.

The Bob Marley Collection is on it’s way!

The new Billabong Broadpeak jacket for the ladies has been introduced and will be widely available to the public for next winter 11/12. We however may be able to get our hands on a couple before the spring so watch this space…
Also, winging its way to stores as we speak is the Billabong x Bob Marley Collaboration and we have one of the only early release collections available! Only a few styles of board shorts and tees are available to start with but more bits will be added as we get closer to the summer. All of the products are made using recycled and organic materials so as to reduce pollution but still provide superior quality and performance.
So its that time of year when we all get dressed up in our Sunday bests but for some people it seems to be an excuse (albeit an acceptable one) to wear the most horrendous jumper for the one special day of the year. The Christmas jumper is a timeless piece of clothing and should feature in everyone’s wardrobe. Here at Two Seasons we have been digging out the best ones we can find on the World Wide Web. Our range of winter jumpers and knits are obviously much more fashionable and up to the minute than these bad boys below but here is a beautiful montage of our top ten knitted wonders featuring Michael Jackson and Snoop Dogg!

The Billabong X Bob Marley Collection hitting stores soon!
