Celebrating the life of Bob Marley

One World, One Love.
Today, 11th June 2011 marks the 30th anniversary of Bob Marley’s death but the legend and legacy lives on in the King of Rastafari’s music. Back in 1980 the Bob Marley and the Wailers tour attracted the largest audiences at that time for any musical act in Europe. The man never wrote a bad song, he wrote music for over two decades and he left behind the most remarkable body of recorded work, yet it still remains timeless and universal. Almost all of us have heard at least one of his songs and we will continue to do so for a long, long time. In fact, they are not songs, they are anthems.
As some of you may already know, Billabong collaborated with The House of Marley to bring a collection to the masses of Bob Marley inspired pieces including t-shirts, vests, board shorts and accessories. Not only do the pieces showcase what Bob Marley was all about in their design but they are made entirely from premium organic materials. Check out what is available at Two Seasons by clicking the link below and watch out for our second summer drop coming soon in stores and online, it includes some girls stuff too!

RVCA is a stylish lifestyle brand that wouldn’t go a miss in any boutique or skate shop. That’s good news because the brand is new to Two Seasons for spring/summer 2011.
Spoken with a U instead of the V, the brand takes the V and the uncrossed A out of its name to create up and down arrows for the logo.
There is a big story behind the brand and it’s Founder and Company Director P M Tenore. Obviously closely associated with skate and surf culture, RVCA is also a combination of sports with art, music, fashion and modern lifestyle. From the beginning there has been the Artist Network Program (ANP) which showcases up-and-coming and well-known artists. Street graffiti is a big part of this and RVCA is a big part of the scene. The brand provides a positive spin on graffiti which most of us associate with dingy bridges and travelling on the train into most cities in the UK. Check out the artwork showcased on the RVCA website, the graffiti timeline is especially impressive http://www.rvca.com/category/anp/
The collection from RVCA has a minimalist feel, simple, clean and well made. The ANP have transformed their artwork into designs for both men and women and sponsored artists, surfers and skaters such as George Thompson, Donny Miller, Ed Templeton, Andrew Pommier, Ben Horton, Mark McCoy and Krush all have signature designs.
Coming very soon so keep watch…

Capita 2010-11 Snowboards Now In
No comments · Posted by Chris in Capita, New Stock, Snowboarding, Winter 2010-11
The first of this year’s snowboards are now starting to arrive – just yesterday we had a delivery from Capita of winter 10-11 boards and WOW; they look sick.
This year we’re carrying 4 Capita decks in total, the ones above in order are:
- Stairmaster
- Stairmaster Extreme
- Horrorscope
- Indoor Survival
This season’s selection is packed with Capita’s FK (Flat Kick) technology, which is designed to give you back the pop that most reverse camber boards take away. The Horrorscope has Urban FK, perfect for snowdome and jib riding with a flat section in the base and long rocker sections toward the nose and tail. The Indoor Survival’s Freestyle FK features an extended flat camber between the inserts which is stiffened with carbon. Perfect for killing it in the park one day then taking it to the pow the next.
They should be up and available on the snowboard section of the website for pre-order within the next couple of days – check back soon to make sure you don’t miss out!
